April is traditionally a time of transition. Spring is in the air. Life is awakening all around us after the long cold winter. And for many of us feelings of a renewed sense of strength and ambition arise. It is a time of year when we re-visit the concept of out with the old and in with the new. But beyond seasonal transitions, we all experience times of change in our lives, both good and bad. This April we would like to discuss ways to navigate through transitional periods in life with the practice of self care techniques and the use of various plant based remedies, such as high CBD cannabis oil, essential oils, and flower essences.
Self-Care Can Be The Key To Clarity During Times of Transition
When faced with change, whether positive or negative, feelings of anxiousness are fairly normal. With change, our patterns are being disrupted and the fear of the unknown can sometimes grab ahold of us. This can create a physiologic response of stress in our bodies, triggering more than just mental or emotional strain.
For me personally, it was a move abroad that did it. While I looked forward to this move in many ways, when the time came to make the leap the logistics of moving to another country proved to be very overwhelming. This pushed me into a state of stress. I was no longer taking the necessary time to care for myself in the ways I needed to most. There was just too much to get done. Too much to prepare for. The gym was completely out of the question, carbs became my best friend, and the level of tension in my back and neck beginning to skyrocket. This was a huge transition for myself and my family, and I was feeling the effects of this major life change, big time.
Whenever I began to feel my health and sanity declining further throughout the moving process, self-care always brought me back to a safe place. When I took time for self-care, the million and one things I had to do all became much more manageable. Prioritizing even the tiniest amount of time for my SELF was key. Whether that meant taking a quick walk outside, soaking in a hot bath, or simply doing nothing for a brief moment to allow my mind to rest. When dealing with transition, or any life stressor for that matter, never lose sight of your own personal needs. We have to take care of ourselves in order to remain centered and focused.
Powerful Plant Allies To Incorporate During Times of Transition
I have always been a firm believe in the power of plants. However, plants definitely tend become even stronger allies during times of transition. High CBD oil infused with essential oils literally became my BFF during my massive move abroad. The aromatherapeutic effects of the essential oils lowered my internal stress response rapidly. And high CBD oil alleviated the tension that was taking over my body.
High CDB products are excellent pain modulators both internally at a central nervous system level and topically as muscle relaxers. CBD and other cannabinoids play a major role in how muscles and the neurons that control them communicate. When applied topically, cannabinoids such as CBD & THC bind to the naturally occurring cannabinoid receptors in our skin. The results can often be fast-acting and long-lasting muscle relaxation.
Canna-Fusion High CBD Synergy Salve combines the power of Cannabis with a proprietary blend of essential oils, including lemon, grapefruit, and sweet orange.
Limonene is a natural occurring terpene found in many citrus oils. It has a strong grounding effect, making the particular blend of oils that Canna-Fusion uses in their high CBD salve excellent for transitional times. This high CBD salve also contains low levels of THC which comes with its own set of benefits. Canna-Fusion utilizes oils extracted from the whole cannabis plant oil because it allows for the expression of the natural synergy between cannabinoids, and therefore provides more effective results than CBD alone.
Flower Essences are also very powerful plant allies to consider incorporating during times of transition. Flower essences tend to open the mind to new understandings of emotions, especially the many which can arise with change, such as anxiety and stress. Walnut is considered to be the primary essence for those being faced with major life transitions. Flowers in general though are symbolic of a plant’s transition from one phase of life to the next making them particularly strong allies when going through changes.
Remember, Nothing Is Permanent
Change is a necessary and normal part of life. It can definitely take its toll on us though. Major life changes can leave one feeling insecure, anxious, and in need of guidance. It can also leave us felling a bit vulnerable. On the other hand, change can be a very beautiful thing, even if it comes with periods of difficulty. You know what they say, no rain…no rainbows.
Change is inevitable. We just have to learn how to maneuver through it and be good to ourselves along the way.
