Craft Cannabis Products: A World Of Difference

best cannabis topicals for pain

Think free trade organic coffee, microbrews, artisanal bread, and farm-to-table. Craft consumer products have taken off. But what exactly does craft cannabis mean? Makers of some of the best cannabis topicals for pain explore exactly what it is that sets their craft cannabis products apart.

When it come to buying a cup of your favorite coffee, some prefer the drive-through at the Human Bean while others enjoy the neighborhood coffee house around the corner. Some people will only shop at Walmart and others favor the atmosphere of smaller local stores like Paloma Clothing in Portland. When a product falls into the second category it generally means that more patience, care, and attention to detail was put into production.

Craft products are produced in small-batches, using quality focused practices and this translates to something that the consumer can truly feel. They can’t always put their finger on it, but they know that craft products are unique.

best cannabis topicals for pain

The same goes for Craft Cannabis which is commonly sun grown by small family farms using organic methods. Craft Cannabis growers do their best to ensure that the plant’s potency and medicinal value are preserved, thus generating quality cannabis that is far superior to that which is mass produced. Quality cannabis-infused products always start with quality craft cannabis.

Canna-Fusion, Oregon’s Premier Cannabis Topicals, are some of the best cannabis topicals for pain available on the market today. Their line of topicals demonstrates to a tee all of the above mentioned traits of a truly craft product. Not only are they super selective about the full-spectrum cannabis extracts they purchase, they also incorporate a proprietary blend of high potency organic essential oils into their products. All products contain a number of important phyto-cannabinoids and terpenes that work synergistically together to provide a consistent beneficial effect for the customer. Scientific studies and empirical evidence have shown the positive effects of keeping all of cannabis’s molecules together, especially THC and CBD. THC enhances CBD’s effect of decreasing inflammation/pain while CBD enhances the effect of THC’s ability to decrease pain without any negative psycho-active effects.

Canna-Fusion Ultimate Salve has 600 mgs cannabinoids per 1 oz. This is the most per ounce available on the Oregon market.

Canna-Fusion’s unique product base also sets them apart from other top topicals in Oregon. Some larger companies will add cannabis extract or isolate into a lotion base full of unknown chemicals and preservatives. Canna-Fusion has researched and chosen each ingredient independently making it possible to fully understand every single ingredient that goes into their products. Sure, this takes more time and the products can’t be mass produced in this fashion, but the makers wouldn’t have it any other way. There are already way too many toxins in our bodies, environment and lives. Plus many consumers who use these products already have an inflammatory process going on. Why add to the insult?

Canna-Fusion has specific ingredients for inflammation/pain and absorption, but all people really want is something that works for their pain and they want a good value for their dollar.

One of the challenges with topicals is the recent explosion of hemp CBD topicals. People are flocking to them. ….but, what most consumers end up finding out is that these topicals need to be reapplied every 1-2 hours. This is simply not sustainable. Canna-fusion topicals always have THC in them because people need THC with the CBD. This is the only way to get the best therapeutic effect from cannabis and to sustain the therapeutic effects.

When people apply Canna-Fusion topicals, they last anywhere from 3-8 hours vs 1-2 hours with a CBD topical.

You can find Canna-Fusion products side by side by with other leading products on the shelves at many Oregon dispensaries. With Canna-Fusion you get a consistently effective topical that you, the customer, can count on. Customers find it challenging to decide which topical products to purchase. Marketing tactics throw many people off and confuse both Bud-tenders and potential customers. Just remember, Canna-Fusion is unique. These are truly Craft Cannabis products in every aspect. In southern Oregon tourists and locals alike are buying up these products because they have that Oregon grown feel to them all the way through. These are by far Craft Cannabis products at their absolute finest.

Terpenes for Pain That You Must Know About

terpenes for pain

In the 1960’s researchers began to take a keen interest in the therapeutic benefits of chemical compounds found in plants. During this time, terpenes (once thought of solely as aromatic compounds) began to stand out as having distinct medicinal properties. Scientists quickly concluded that the use of terpenes for pain and other medical conditions should be taken into consideration. Fast forward decades later and the word terpene has jumped into the limelight.

terpenes for pain

Terpenes are compounds present in ALL plants. However, they are found in particularly high concentration in Cannabis. Furthermore, there are over 200 known terpenes that occur in Cannabis alone. Varying combinations of terpenes contribute to each strain having it’s own unique smell, as well as specific medicinal properties.

Terpene profiles can be manipulated to produce distinct smells and tastes, but also to elicit specific therapeutic usages. Cannabis enthusiasts like the folks at Canna-Fusion are doing just this. In addition to naturally occurring terpenoids found in the full spectrum cannabis oil used to produce their cannabis topicals, they add more terpenes to their products. Adding specific terpenes for pain and inflammation helps to heighten the therapeutic effects of the cannabinoids found in cannabis. The combination of cannabinoids and terpenes has a great entourage effect. Theses compounds work closely with one another to decrease inflammation and pain. Moreover, natural terpenes complete the therapeutic picture by increasing transdermal absorption.

3 of the Best Terpenes For Pain Management

Myrcene

terpenes for pain

Myrcene is the most abundant terpene found in cannabis. It is a highly fragrant terpene also found in plants such as laurel, lemongrass, basil and thyme. Myrcene has a powerful anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect that relaxes muscles. Studies have shown that this terpene significantly inhibits nociception, which is pain from physical damage. Studies show it may also significantly enhance transdermal absorption of topical products.

Limonene

terpenes for pain

Limonene is the second most commonly occurring terpene in all of nature, and is found in all citrus fruits as well as many cannabis strains. It possess powerful anti-inflammatory properties. It has been successfully used to treat chronic musculoskeletal pain, one of the main symptoms of Fibromyalgia. Like other terpenes, it greatly enhances skin penetration. The uplifting aroma of limonene may also reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.

Delta-3-Carene

terpenes for pain

Think about the pungent and somewhat sweet scent of rosemary, citrus and pine. Delta-3-Carene is produced by many plants including cannabis. Like other terpenoids, it is a powerful anti-inflammatory. It’s known as a highly effective bone-repairing terpene making it ideal for treating conditions such as arthritis and osteoporosis.

So you see, the term “terpene-rich” is much more than just a catch phrase. Topical cannabis products with high terpene content are more readily absorbed and they have many other perks as discussed here. We touched on 3 of the best terpenes for pain, but there are many more out there that make ideal additions to cannabis salves and oils. Cannabis Topicals Designed for You

“What makes our topicals so effective is that we make them with you in mind. We handcraft each batch with much care and pure intention. YOU are the driving force behind our business.” – Canna-Fusion

The Birth of Canna-Fusion

high cbd cannabis topicals

In the summer of 2015 I was a free-spirit riding my motorcycle through the meandering back roads of the beautiful mountains of southern Oregon listening to the Doobie Brothers when I suddenly lost control of my bike. I miscalculated a turn, was thrown off, and found myself quickly tumbling down the mountain side trying to avoid every tree. I totally trashed my bike and hurt my ribs and back.  I was in shock, out of breath, and sore. It all happened so quickly!  It was then that I found out what it was like to experience extreme back pain.  I explored various types of therapy to help alleviate the pain from chiropractic adjustments, massage, yoga and acupuncture. Nothing seemed to help.

I began incorporating different essential oil blends to help manage the pain and to my surprise they helped quite a bit. But, overall, I was still not on top of the pain and major discomfort was continuing to impact my life and overall well being. It wasn’t until I began researching further into the therapeutic benefits of Cannabis that I finally discovered what would later provide me with complete and total relief.

I desired a way to treat my condition both naturally and effectively. Cannabis provided the perfect solution. An idea came to me that I could use topical cannabis along with essential oils. I decided to combine them into a product that would help decrease inflammation and pain. Essential oils were helpful, but I did not truly experienced a difference until I combined them with Cannabis oil.

high cbd cannabis topicals

I began hand-crafting high CBD cannabis topicals infused with various essential oil formulas. I gave samples to other people to see what their results were as my own were simply astonishing. They experienced great pain relief also and began requested more. This lead to the creation of Canna-Fusion, a unique, small business that makes top quality cannabis topicals…

While it was my own personal need for deep, fast acting and long lasting pain relief that drove me to develop Canna-Fusion, it is now my deepest desire to get YOU started on your own personal journey toward complete wellness.

The Products

high cbd cannabis topicals

It all started with the CBD Synergy Salve. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve recently improved further upon this tried & true product in order to bring you one of the best high CBD Cannabis topicals on the market. This 3:1 CBD:THC salve combines the therapeutic effect of Full-spectrum Oregon Cannabis extracts with a powerhouse Essential Oil Blend of Arnica, Cedar wood, Sweet Orange, Rosemary, Solomon’s seal, and Peppermint. The synergy of these superstar essential oils imparts a subtle scent that is grounding and truly compliments the cannabinoids in the full spectrum extract.

Each of our high CBD cannabis topicals also contain a small amount of THC because it enhances CBD’s anti-inflammatory effect. Transversely, CBD enhances the effect of THC’s ability to decrease pain. Together these two cannabinoids are truly the perfect power couple.

If you are looking for Cannabis topicals for deeper/more intense pain relief, you should look for a different ratio and higher cannabinoid profile like that found in the Canna-Fusion Ultimate Salve.

Empirically, people have found that a 1:1 ratio of THC:CBD works the best for deep pain because of the synergy effect of the two cannnabinoids.  They enhance each other and offer you the most therapeutic effect without any psycho-active effect.  Because we use only Full-spectrum extract, you will find many other cannabinoids in our products that also provide a remedial effect.  This topical’s Essential Oil Blend of Lavender, Rosemary, and Peppermint has been known to help decrease inflammation and pain, not to mention the amazing, relaxing scent!

IMG_3892For people on the go, we offer our convenient Canna Oils (available in 2 formulas).     These ointments are  all created with a 1:1 CBD:THC ratio for ultimate pain relief with no psycho-active effects.  The  Canna-Fusion Cooling Oil is definitely a favorite to many.

The Essential Oil Blend in this topical contains Wintergreen, Peppermint, Clove, and Arnica, which deliver a refreshing cooling sensation to the skin. By infusing our Full-spectrum Cannabis Extract with proprietary blends of essential oils such as these, we have created easy to apply topicals that are supremely effective.

The Best Cannabis Topicals for Everyday Use

best cannabis topicals

With so many Cannabis products available these days it’s at times challenging to determine which is best to incorporate into your own daily routine. The benefits of Cannabis can be delivered to us in many forms. Cannabis topicals offer a great way to enjoy theses benefits without actually having to consume Cannabis. However, selecting the best Cannabis topicals can even get a bit confusing. Salves, creams, lotions, ointments, which is right and why? Here we explore some of the best cannabis topicals for everyday use.

Cannabis Infused Roll On Oils

Super convenient and discrete roll ons offer an easy option for pain relief and general discomfort for those of us who are always on the go. I personally keep one of these in my gym bag at all times and another at the office. These easy to apply and highly targeted roll on oils are extremely effective for the treatment of chronic conditions and acute injuries.

Canna-Fusion’s unique roll ons infuse full spectrum Cannabis extract and MCT oil. Combined with their proprietary blend of essential oils these topicals provide fast acting and long lasting relief without the psychoactive effects.

high cbd low thc oil

The Canna-Fusion line of roll on oils are available in two unique formulas, both with a 1:1 THC:CBD ratio for maximum effectiveness. Simply shake the roller bottle before use and, using the rollerball end, gently massage a dime size amount into the affected area. You can also massage the area where the oil is applied with your fingers in order to increase absorption. Canna-Fusion roll on oils are safe and effective. You can repeat application as often as needed.

Cannabis Infused Massage Oil

Who doesn’t love a good massage? But, let’s face it, we don’t always have the time or resources to schedule a professional one. That doesn’t mean we can’t give our selves a little love though. With a few simple techniques you can reap the benefits of a professional massage at home. Massage helps to relieve muscle tension, boost circulation, and create an overall greater sense of relaxation in the body. Add cannabis infused massage oil to the mix and the result can be magnified greatly.

best cannabis topicals

Canna-Fusion’s THC infused Bliss Massage Oil is formulated with a perfect therapeutic balance of essential oils, carrier oils, and full spectrum Cannabis extract in MCT oil. This massage oil penetrates quickly and easily into sore or tense muscles. There is no THC psychoactive effect, just a very relaxing, calming effect on the body and mind.

Whole plant infused Cannabis oil allows for the full expression of the natural synergy between cannabinoids. This synergy between cannabinoids is absolutely critical when it comes to the overall effectiveness of a cannabis topical product. When selecting any form of topical Cannabis be sure the product is full spectrum. Science has shown that together, cannabinoids such as CBD and THC, offer a broader therapeutic scope for pain management than CBD on its own.

Cannabis Infused Salves

Salves can help decrease inflammation and pain. By applying them as soon as you have an injury, the recovery time increases exponentially.  The endocannabinoid system (ECS) works to keep your body in balance. As soon as there is an injury, your ECS is there to help transfer cannabinoids to your receptors to decrease inflammation and pain.

Salves also work wonders for skin irritations caused by conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. It is always a good idea to keep Cannabis salve in your first aid kit as well for treatment of minor scrapes, bruises, etc. Quality salves have antibacterial properties and provide fast and effective localized pain relief. A good salve is smooth, silky, non-greasy, and non-staining.

Like other forms of Cannabis topicals, simply apply salve liberally to the affected area and gently massage until completely absorbed. You can repeat as often as needed. Be sure to select salves made using full spectrum Cannabis oil that contain cannabinoids such as CBD, CBG, CBGA, CBDA, CBC and THC.

cannabis salve for pain

Canna-Fusion Ultimate Salve , with a total of 500-600  mgs total cannabinoids/1 ounce container, utilizes the power couple THC/CBD. The THC enhances CBD’s effect of decreasing inflammation while the CBD enhances the effect of THC’s ability to decrease pain. Along with all the other cannabinoids and terpenes, there is a great entourage effect. This salve also contains comfrey oil which is known to heal bones and a unique blend of  essential oils consisting of lavender, rosemary, peppermint, and arnica which may help to decrease inflammation /pain.

The best Cannabis Topicals are always tested by an accredited lab and are 100% pesticide, solvent, mold, fungicide, and contaminant free. Quality and consistency are key when selecting a topical that is right for you. Topical Cannabis is safe and reliable and has the ability to support your utmost well-being every day.
